Over Thanksgiving break (November 26-30), I wrote three reports for Chess Life Online about The University of Texas at Dallas Invitational. Although I took hand-written notes when I watched players in post mortems, once at home I relied on the Chess Games tab of the MonRoi Web site.

I learned that PGN notation from MonRoi can be exported to ChessBase. And, using ChessBase, I annotated games by combining the post-mortem comments with the MonRoi game score. Thanks to all the players for sharing their post mortems with me. It was also very nice to see so many of my current and former Chess Online students. Out of the 20 players in the tournament, 8 have taken one or both of my courses.
